Unlearning Religion
Part of learning something new is unlearning something old. Paul wrote a letter to Jesus-followers in Ephesus to help them with that very thing. He wanted them to know that being a part of God’s family wasn’t about what they’d done, but what God had done for them through Jesus. He knew the more they unlearned the old stuff, the more they would wake up to the people God created them to be. In this 7-week series we’re going to do some unlearning by learning how to avoid wrong turns and instead follow the truth of the gospel. God’s truth changes every aspect of our lives over time, but we need to unlearn some things to make space for that truth.
